Jake Bartman’s stories have appeared in Story, Ninth Letter, Southern Indiana Review, Columbia Journal, Booth, and elsewhere. His story “Night Swim” earned a 2021 Pushcart special mention, and in 2023, he earned his MFA from the University of Florida. He has attended Tin House and the Virginia Quarterly Review Summer Writers’ Conference, and he has received support from the Community of Writers and Sewanee Writers’ Conference. He lives in New Mexico.
